FAQs
Is this therapy?
No.
Life's Foundry is not therapy, counseling, or clinical mental health treatment. We don't diagnose conditions or provide licensed mental health care.
Life's Foundry is a secular men's practice built around honest conversation, reflection, accountability, and intentional personal growth. Some men come to us on their own. Others participate alongside therapy or after therapy. If we believe your next step is with a licensed mental health professional, we'll tell you honestly.
Is this faith-based?
No.
Life's Foundry is intentionally secular. It isn't affiliated with any religion, church, or spiritual tradition, and participation doesn't require any particular set of beliefs.
Men from any faith—or no faith at all—are welcome. Our work is centered on honest conversation, personal responsibility, meaningful relationships, and the daily practice of becoming a steadier man.
Is this a recovery program?
No.
Life's Foundry is not a recovery program or a substitute for addiction treatment. If you're seeking help for substance abuse or addiction, we encourage you to work with qualified recovery professionals and support programs.
Life's Foundry is for men who want to become more intentional about how they live, lead, and carry life's responsibilities. Some men participate while in recovery or after completing a recovery program, but our work focuses on personal growth, honest conversation, accountability, and building a steadier foundation for life.
Who is Life’s Foundry for?
Life's Foundry is for men who are functioning on the outside but know something has shifted on the inside. They're showing up to work, taking care of their responsibilities, and doing what needs to be done—but quietly carrying more than they've admitted, even to themselves.
Some are navigating major life changes. Others are simply looking for more clarity, stronger relationships, deeper purpose, or a place to have honest conversations with other men who are doing the same work.
You don't have to be in crisis to belong here. You just have to be willing to do the work.
Who is Life’s Foundry not for?
Life's Foundry isn't for every man, and that's okay.
This work is for men who are willing to look honestly at themselves, take responsibility for their choices, and remain open to growth. If you're looking for someone to fix your life, tell you what you want to hear, or place blame on everyone else, this probably isn't the right fit.
It's also not the right place for men seeking therapy, addiction recovery, crisis intervention, or a faith-based program. Those services have an important place, and we'll gladly encourage you toward the resources that best meet your needs.
Life's Foundry is built for men who are ready to do the work—even when it's uncomfortable—and who are willing to extend that same honesty and respect to the men sitting beside them.
