Foundry retreats · North Idaho

Step out of the noise.
Come back to yourself.

Time outdoors. Honest conversation. Enough space to take stock of where you are—and where you want to go.

Express retreat interest
A different rhythm

Make room for
what gets crowded out.

A Foundry retreat brings men together for intentional time away from everyday demands. Guided reflection and conversation sit alongside quiet, connection, and time outside.

You choose how much to share. The invitation is to be present, listen honestly, and leave with a practical sense of what comes next.

Future retreat dates, venue, and final itinerary will be announced. This is an interest inquiry, not a reservation or payment.

Find the right experience

Time for yourself.
Or time together.

Explore the retreat direction that interests you. Individual retreats welcome men at different stages of adult life. Final formats and father-and-son age requirements will be confirmed before booking.

Individual retreat

A reset of your own.

Step away with men who are also making time to reflect. Explore your own direction while sharing the experience of being in good company.

Father & son

A little more understanding.

A planned father-and-son retreat direction, with room to listen, spend intentional time together, and see each other with fresh eyes. Final format and age requirements are to be confirmed.

The shape of a retreat

A little structure.
A little breathing room.

01 / ARRIVE

Let the day settle.

Find your bearings, meet the men around you, and get clear on the shared expectations.

02 / MAKE SPACE

Reflect and connect.

Guided conversations and personal reflection, balanced with unhurried time outdoors.

03 / CARRY IT HOME

Choose a next step.

Take what’s useful into your everyday life with a personal intention you can act on.

This is the retreat approach, rather than a confirmed itinerary. Practical details will be shared before registration opens. Retreat imagery is illustrative; people pictured are not actual participants.

Before you pack a bag

A few practical
questions.

Do I need to be outdoorsy?

The focus is personal reflection and connection. Ask about the terrain, activities, accommodation, and accessibility of a specific retreat before deciding. Those details will be confirmed with the venue.

Is my place held when I express interest?

No. An inquiry lets you ask questions or hear about future plans. It does not create a booking, require a deposit, or commit you to attend.

Will I have to tell my story?

You choose what to share. You can listen, take your time, and pass on a question. Honest conversation works best when it is an invitation. You do not need to arrive ready to explain everything.

What will be included?

Accommodation, meals, activities, cost, cancellation terms, and any age requirements will be set out for each retreat before you book. Ask Rick if there is something you need to plan around.

Give yourself something to look forward to.

Ask a question or express interest in a future retreat.

Find your next step
A foundation of trust

Your story belongs to you.

Start with what you’re comfortable sharing. A first inquiry only needs a way to reach you and the kind of conversation you’re looking for.

Your first inquiry

When you choose Send inquiry, your name, email, and message are submitted through Squarespace, stored with Life’s Foundry’s form submissions, and emailed to Info@LifesFoundry.com so Rick can reply. Please include only what is needed for a first conversation. Do not include sensitive personal, medical, or financial details.

Before taking part

Gatherings are built around a shared expectation of discretion: speak from your own experience, respect each man’s choice to pass, and keep other people’s stories out of conversations elsewhere. Group discretion cannot be guaranteed.

Participation boundaries and any limits to confidentiality should be discussed directly with Rick before a session or retreat. Ordinary email is not a secure place for sensitive personal, medical, or financial details.
